We deal with all drawings, paperwork and applications for your applications.

We endeavour to make the 'paperwork' and application part of your project as stress free as possible for you. You will be involved as much as you wish in the design part to ensure you get the extension you want. The 'boring' parts of dealing with the planning and building regulation applications and officers, filling out forms and making applications will be dealt with by us.

How the process work with Jon Spencer Technical Drawing

Visiting our potential clients enables us to better understand the project and give advice from both a planning and construction view point. A discussion on site about the project along with timescales, requirements and the reasons for them, assists in our aim achieve the best solution for the client. At this meeting we are also able to explain the application processes and the services we offer. Depending on your questions the whole discussion stage should take between 15 and 45 minutes.

After this stage we will offer fixed fees for our services and advise on budget figures for building costs should they be required.

Once appointed we will usually visit again to undertake a measured survey within 7-10 days to suit your needs. Shortly after that we would normally return to show you information closely resembling a planning application to finalise the design prior to submission of the full application.

Once planning has been granted we will progress to the building regulation drawings. These are the plans which provide the detail about how the proposal will be built. Throughout the build process we are available for consultation should problems arise.
